Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a postgraduate medical degree in the relevant specialty from an NMC recognized university or institute. The specific qualifications required for each department are as follows:
- Anaesthesiology: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology
- Cardiology: DM/DNB in Cardiology or MD/DNB in Medicine/Pediatrics
- Dermatology: MD/DNB in Dermatology & Venereology
- Endocrinology: DM/DNB in Endocrinology or MD/DNB in Medicine/Pediatrics
- ENT: MS in ENT or MCh (Head & Neck Surgery)
- Medicine: MD/DNB in Medicine
- Neurology: DM/DNB in Neurology or MD/DNB in Medicine
- Obst. & Gynaecology: MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Ophthalmology: MD/DNB in Ophthalmology
- Pediatrics: MD/DNB in Pediatrics
- Psychiatry: MD/DNB in Psychiatry
- Radiology: MD/DNB in Radio-Diagnosis
- Surgery: MS/DNB in Surgery
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applying is 45 years as of 31st August 2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories and ex-servicemen.
Application Fee
- General/OBC: Rs. 3000 + transaction charges
- SC/ST/EWS: Rs. 2400 + transaction charges (refundable upon appearing for the CBT)

Exam Pattern
The recruitment process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) and an interview. The CBT will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions, and the interview will carry 20 marks. The final merit list will be based on the combined marks of the CBT and the interview.
